The Jupiter carrot is an early variety which offers small round roots, red orange, with tender and tasty flesh. It is a carrot renowned for its taste quality but also for its ease of cultivation because it tolerates shallow soil. The roots can be eaten raw or cooked and the leaves are a great addition in any soup. Sow outdoor from February to June for a harvest from June to November. Grow indoor year round.
